Xosmology is designed to help people slow down, think clearly and find perspective. The first version focuses on low-risk, self-directed mindfulness, grounding, reflection, gratitude and perspective practices.
It can be useful when you want to pause, make sense of a difficult thought, reconnect with what matters, or step back from a problem that has started to fill the whole sky.
It is not therapy, counselling, psychiatry, diagnosis, treatment or crisis support. It is not a substitute for professional care, medication, emergency help or the people in your real life. We do not diagnose anything, we do not treat anything, and we will never tell you to avoid professional help.
What we mean by support
Support here means reflection, perspective and self-directed practice: breathing, grounding, mindfulness, values, gratitude, rest and clearer thinking. It does not mean clinical support. Anything that moves into grief, trauma, shame, death anxiety or serious distress must be handled carefully and, in future, reviewed by qualified clinicians before being presented as guidance.
Our comfort rule
Xosmology will only offer comfort that can stand in the light. No false promises. No invented certainty. No pretending that painful things are easy. Where reality gives less comfort than religion, we will say so plainly. The aim is not to make everything feel fine. The aim is to help people stay connected to what is true, useful and human.
