We collect as little as possible.

Xosmology is designed to be free, lightweight and respectful of privacy. The public website can be read without creating an account with us.

Information you choose to give us

If you give us your email address, we use it only to write to you about Xosmology. We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising targeting.

Analytics

We do not want invasive tracking. If we use analytics, they should be privacy-respecting, limited and used only to understand basic site performance and usefulness.

The Companion

The Xosmology Companion opens in ChatGPT. Conversations with the Companion are handled by ChatGPT and are subject to ChatGPT's own privacy settings, terms and controls. Do not share information with the Companion that you would not want processed by ChatGPT.

Third-party services

The site may use services such as hosting, analytics, email or ChatGPT links. Those services may process limited technical information needed to provide the service.

Deleting data

If we hold information you gave us directly, such as an email address, you can ask for it to be deleted.

Changes

This page may be updated as the project develops, especially if we add email sign-up, analytics, community features or other tools.
